Situation

The centre was relaunching with a refreshed look, new anchor tenant and new name. The directive was to deliver an activation that was fun, tailored to the location demographic and then of course market it so that people would attend.

Focus

We created a launch moment built around a complete experience from digital to physical. Our full service approach combined event planning, campaign branding, content production and digital advertising. Everything was designed to build anticipation, show energy, and drive foot traffic on the day.

Festival of Colour by title and by graphics

Bold, high-energy and impossible to ignore, the creative leaned into colour and movement inspired by Holi (The Festival of Colour) with modern shapes to appeal to all. Cohesive campaign creatives were imperative for audiences to recognise across digital platforms through to tangible items as flyers, flags and onsite infrastructure.

Content that hypes

We captured a series of on-site video content designed to both inform and build awareness in the lead-up to the event. Using a direct-to-camera approach, the content was designed to feel personal, immediate and grounded in what was actually happening on this day without being overproduced. We also created a deeper content layer around the anchor reopening, giving it its own spotlight while still tying it back into the broader centre launch moment.

Outcome

Appealing to every age and community culture this event had a non-stop entertainment schedule with rides, games, music, dancers, acrobats, henna, face painting.
